Guru Pyari Sangat ji, due to current lockdown, from Saturday 28th November the Gurdwara Sahib will only be open for darshan of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji over every weekend
Gurdwara opening times Temporarily
Saturday 9am-12noon
Sunday 9am-12noon
Monday 30th (only on Gurpurab)
7am-12noon
4pm-7pm.
All diwaan programmes for sangat are temporarily suspended and will recommence after the Government lifts the new lockdown restrictions.
When visiting the Gurdwara Sahib please ensure you follow rules regarding social distancing and the wearing of a face covering.
If you have any COVID symptoms please refrain from coming to Gurdwara.

ਸੰਗਤ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੀਵਾਨ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਥਾਈ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਾਲਾਬੰਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਪਾਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਟਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਜਦੋਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਕਰੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਦੂਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਨੂੰ coveringੱਕਣ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ.

Khalsa Saajna Diwas (Vaisakhi) Program during COVID-19
Dear Sadh-Sangat Ji,
Message to inform you that during this difficult time, both the Trustees and Management Committee have decided to mark this years’ Viasakhi on the Monday 13th April by way of a live Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath , katha , kirtan and Ardaas. This will be held at 10am and can be accessed via (https://www.facebook.com/GurdwaraReading/) or (https://readinggurdwara.org/).
We urge all Sangat to participate by reading Sukhmani Sahib Bani from comfort of their homes all starting at 10am
We wish that with all of the sadhsangat paath’s and good wishes, that the current situation will improve and thereafter, will look forward to seeing you all back at the Gurughar.

Sri Singh Sahba Gurdwara, Reading – Guidance for Funerals (dated 27 March 2020).
Based upon government strict guidelines, funerals will continue to be conducted, however many protective measures have to be put in place at funeral homes, crematorium, Gurdwara (and other places of worship) which we must all strictly adhered to, at all times.Funeral homes have been provided very strict government guidelines, which they must adhere to in order to protect there facility, staff and the public.Each crematorium has a stipulated maximum number of people that can attend the crematorium service. And all individuals must follow the governments mandatory guidelines, at all times.
In places of worship (which applied to our Gurughar) that are already shut down, all necessary measures must be in place, to safeguard the health and welfare of any employees that are living on the premises. Any and all interaction with the public must be strictly limited and anyone visiting must be wearing a mask and gloves, and the same rules apply to the employees when interacting with ‘any’ member of the public. At all times the ‘social distancing rule of 2 metres’ must be adhered.
Based upon the size and internal structure of Reading Gurughar, the maximum number of individuals attending the bhog and kirtan will be based strictly upon the number of people that are allowed/permitted, to attend the crematorium service. This is for the health and safety of all individuals, and in particular the 3 paathi employees that are residing at our Gurughar.
